JORDAN GRANT
Serious competitor. Strong leader. Big-play athlete.
On the Field:
Jordan Grant is a 6’3”, 200 lb triple-threat difference-maker at Plano West High School who impacts the game in every phase of the offense. A varsity contributor since his freshman year and elected team captain, Jordan helped drive one of the program’s biggest turnarounds—leading the Wolves from a 0–10 season to a 6–4 winning record. His elite versatility, football IQ, and toughness earned him 2025 District 6-6A Offensive Utility Player of the Year (voted by opposing coaches) and First Team All-District honors.
Off the field, Jordan matches his on-field intensity with discipline and leadership. He carries a 3.5 GPA, was named 2025 Homecoming King, and is known throughout the Plano West community for his character and mentorship. Jordan is a high-ceiling, high-character recruit built to elevate a college program from day one.

“Jordan is playing at a different level. In that moment, there was no doubt in mind that he’d score,” Soukup said. “I’m sure Plano knew we were going to run counter to Jordan, but our offensive line was playing so well and Jordan is a big, 200-pound kid running downhill. It was a big play to end the half.”

“Jordan is a very versatile player,” said Plano West head coach Tyler Soukup. “He’s our starting quarterback, but we also can split him wide as a receiver and he’ll play several plays on defense in the secondary."

"That senior leadership starts with quarterback Jordan Grant, who has selflessly shared time under center with junior backup Blake Tevis. Grant is the team's leading passer with 294 yards and a touchdown, the second-leading rusher with 184 yards and four touchdowns, and has even split out wide to catch five passes for 57 yards and a score. If that doesn't already qualify him for one of the most versatile players in Class 6A, he also plays safety on long-distance downs. "

"That’s primarily the case behind center where senior Jordan Grant enters his third season as the team’s full-time starting quarterback. As West looks to improve on its 13.5 points-per-game scoring clip, Grant’s dual-threat skill set will be key after accounting for the bulk of the team’s touchdowns scored in 2024."
